Reports of the memory being inadequate (and needing to figure out where it fits in _my_ life) are the primary reasons I'm holding out. Also, I'm running a first-gen iPhone so I'm waiting to see the next version before I figure out my next steps. If the next iPhone is underwhelming, I might consider getting a non-iPhone phone and an iPad, otherwise I'm holding out hope the iPhone negates my need for the iPad. (Having said that, I just put my iPhone down while browsing on the couch and picked up the laptop, maybe I've found where the iPad would fit into my life after all.)
