Dude???

not only are those places really shitty, they are not speakeasies…. sorry to be a dick, but these are so lame…. just horrible brand association…

Brother Jimmy’s? really? pete’s tavern? might as well have put up a shirt for turtle bay… seriously, have you ever had a drink at those places… they taste like regret. God forbid you remind yourself you’ve been there, let alone advertise that you tried to hook up with some 19 year old NYU freshman who wanted to go there because she heard that’s where “guys who work in finance” hang out. shame on you.

I like my non-iron pants though… although I often don’t wear “monday’s” on monday, and it kinda throws me off. I feel like a total jackass wearing “monday’s” on a tuesday. Like, I know it would be a pain in the ass, but could you do one’s where I choose the color and the day… i’m just not a navy blue on monday kinda guy… those are more like the thursday pants cause happy hour is most often on thursday and that’s the night you want to rock the solid navy blues, you know, to impress the 24 year old nyu alum chicks who like guys who… nevermind… leave the grandpa grey’s for monday or something… i get the joke that we’re supposed to express our blue feelings on monday, but that’s just completely banal.

rant over… thanks for listening

oh, and if you want me to buy 33×30 of the tuesday, thursday and friday pants (you know, because i need to complete the set) give me some sort of coupon (2 for 3, $75 bucks off a purchase of 250 or more etc…). I may be an asshole, but I do wear pants.

warm regards,

Jesse

ps. look at the attached photo from brother jimmy’s. does that fucking look like a drink served at a speak easy??? it has a goddamn plastic lizard in it and 10 fucking straws… go take a timeout

Additionally, the method has been extended to include a process for reporting and reacting to any issues that may arise while an O’Reilly deployment is underway. The reporting process begins similarly to other deployment monitoring solutions, however, if any issue is discovered the person reporting the issue with be told to “Shut up!” and potentially called a “Pinhead.”

Dear Lorenzo,

Thanks for your email…. sigh… where to begin… Lorenzo Lorenzo Lorenzo, You know when you really screw up and you father says, “I’m not angry, I’m just disappointed.”

Yeah, I’m pretty disappointed.

I hesitate to call you a liar because that would be rude and I don’t know you. But help me reconcile your below statements (highlighted in yellow for your reference) and the attached picture I have supplied from my online bank statement which indicates I was in fact charged $107.10 by Stubhub on 5/24. You may feel free to ignore my J crew charge. for which while I equally regret, don’t hold you responsible.

You Lorenzo, currently stand accused of inconveniencing me and messaging me with incorrect information. Luckily for you, I am going to give you the opportunity to fix the situation by reversing the charge, and perhaps demonstrating your profuse apology with mellifluous words or even financial amends in the form of free tickets, future no fee selling credits, or something inventive and juicy that turns my sour mood right around, like gushers fruit snacks.

If this is not your fault, which I assume it isn’t, and your reputation has indeed been shamed (I’d even argue tarnished at this point) by a malicious operator, who without telling you decided to charge me… feel free to beat him about the head and shoulders with a foam bat, or a stapler. Also yell VERY LOUDLY at him (or her). Express the immense dissatisfaction we both now share, such that they know deep down what they did was wrong….If HR gets mad at you because the operator is now sullen and bruised, remind them ” Jesse said I could do it”

If this email does not convey my annoyance and anger at the present situation I am of course happy to respond with a more typical: MUTHERRFUKER FIX MY SHYT NOWZZZ as necessary. Just give me the appropriate manager email who can handle this “escalated situation” and I’ll be happy to send an all caps form of communication that will ruin his or her Monday.

Looking forward to hearing from you and your plan to make amends,

Jesse

What then is the relation of law to morality? Law cannot prescribe morality, it can prescribe only external actions and therefore it should prescribe only those actions whose mere fulfillment, from whatever motive, the state adjudges to be conducive to welfare. What actions are these? Obviously such actions as promote the physical and social conditions requisite for the expression and development of free—or moral—personality…. Law does not and cannot cover all the ground of morality. To turn all moral obligations into legal obligations would be to destroy morality. Happily it is impossible. No code of law can envisage the myriad changing situations that determine moral obligations. Moreover, there must be one legal code for all, but moral codes vary as much as the individual characters of which they are the expression. To legislate against the moral codes of ones fellows is a very grave act, requiring for its justification the most indubitable and universally admitted of social gains, for it is to steal their moral codes, to suppress their characters.

My brother Jesse wrote this letter to Agent Provocateur. I felt it was worth publishing.

From: My.Brother@Jesse
Date: Mon, Dec 27, 2010 at 8:12 PM
Subject: Re: Contact Us : An upset 1st time customer needs immediate help
To: Services <Services@agentprovocateur.com

Dear Chloé or other anonymous customer service agent,

Thanks for your email (see chain below for relevant details including order number and history). Candidly it was totally unhelpful. If I were an anxious and fussy customer (as undoubtedly you have plenty) it might have placated me. Unfortunately, I am a slightly different breed. All I want are two things: The truth (no matter how much it hurts), and results. The truth appears to be, you have no control over my package, no assurity that it will ever arrive, and could care less. The results are… well you can imagine.

Close your eyes. Imagine your lover in sexy agent provocateur lingerie bringing you a mug of hot cocoa. Its cold outside but now you’re snuggled together in bed and things are wonderful… not to mention the joy associated with what you both know to be coming soon.

That is the opposite of what you have provided me.

I sit cold and alone with no lingerie, no cocoa and no snuggling. Santa did not come for my girlfriend, and I can assure you she was nice all year.

The situation is now desperate and I don’t get the sense in your email that you understand the severity of this situation. My package has not arrived for an order I placed on December 7th.

PICK UP A RED PHONE AND CALL SOMEONE IMPORTANT. KNOCK HEADS…. KICK DOWN DOORS… PUT BLACK PAINT BELOW YOUR EYES LIKE YOU ARE AN ATHLETE PREPARING FOR BATTLE…

I am a patient individual, but you are depriving me of cocoa and snuggling for god sakes…. have you no empathy?

Here is a direct actionable step you can take:

Call USPS and find out where the package is. Find out when it will be delivered. Find out if the postman’s wife has some new sexy lingerie she is enjoying.

Report back to me on your findings.

Non sequitor questions I wonder as I sit alone and cold waiting for my package to arrive:

I presume when I spend $250 dollars on lingerie I’m not just buying an item… I’m buying a luxurious way of life. In economic times of austerity, I am paying up for a little for quality but mostly for service. At least that’s what my friend who’s in business school tells me. So I should be upset that effectively what I paid for was not delivered, even if/when the item arrives? Right? Because I paid for service, such that I paid in sum a price above market rate for sexy lingerie. I paid for an experience that even once the item arrives, will never be truly delivered.

Chloe, I feel a little bad, because likely this situation is not your fault and yet you are the recipient of my intense dismay. I have a hunch you were not the person that shipped my package on the 13th when I ordered on the 7th. You were not the one who listed my item as “despatched” as of the 7th (such that I felt no immediate cause for concern) in my online account history. You have been unfortunately inserted as brave soldier, sent to defend agent provocateur’s reputation and resolve whatever issues the disgruntled customer (me) has. I don’t want to ruin your day. But as you are my only window into what I perceive to be a soul-less entity who ruins boyfriend’s lives, I am left with little choice. Please send this email to the appropriate parties and explain to them that their actions caused both you and I much consternation. Make them feel our pain. Perhaps you can use some of the more nefarious instruments AP offers for sale on your site.

I have a friend who never gets screwed like this and most of the time its because she acts like a total bitch right away at the first sign of trouble. She gets so far up the ass of the poor individual who unluckily happens to be on the other end of the phone that she gets what she wants and likely a discount on her next purchase. I always hate that she wins… it reinforces her nasty behavior that I loathe. But she always tells me, “hey, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.” I respond with something about bees liking honey, but it falls on deaf ears. And what do I get? Crappy service.

Maybe I should try what she says:

I am important. I am fucking pissed. Fix it NOWWWWWWWW.

Rant over. Commence undisgruntling me.

Warmest regards in the holiday season,

Jesse
